About me

Welcome to a warm space where your unique story is valued and your journey towards self-discovery and growth is supported. I’m Alessandra, a compassionate Brazilian therapist with a deep commitment to embracing the full spectrum of human diversity—whether it’s age, gender, sexual identity, belief systems, abilities, ethnicity, or cultural background. In my practice, I approach every client with an open heart and mind, free from preconceptions, ensuring that you feel truly seen, heard, and understood.

My Approach

At the heart of my therapeutic approach is Psychosynthesis, a powerful and integrative method that transcends traditional therapy. This approach combines both mind, feelings, body and spirituality, helping you explore the deeper layers of your identity, uncover your life’s purpose, and tap into your full potential. Whether you’re wrestling with internal conflicts, navigating life transitions, or seeking greater self-awareness, Psychosynthesis offers a pathway to a more authentic, balanced, and fulfilling life. It is a holistic view on humans that supports a concept of continuous change and a drive to include all parts of our being and expression. In life well might create patterns of behaviour as survival styles from traumatising events that limit our sense of self, of expression and connection. Even when meeting deeply challenging life events, there is an inherit trust in Psychosynthesis that our nature directs towards healing of wounding. Psychosynthesis invites you to re-open up to our interconnected nature as human beings and allowing creativity and expression to support healing.

First session

Before our first session, I’ll send you a questionnaire to gather some background information and understand the issues you’d like to explore. This helps me gain a broad sense of you and your needs before we begin. Please return the completed questionnaire at least two days before our first session, so I have time to read it.

Location

I offer therapy both in-person, at my private practice in Central (London Bridge)  and North London, and online via Zoom or phone, making it accessible no matter where you are in the world. Sessions are 50 minutes long, typically conducted on a weekly basis, and can be structured as either short-term or long-term depending on your goals.

For those who feel more comfortable expressing themselves in their native language, I’m also fluent in Portuguese and offer therapy in this language.

Fee

As part of my commitment to making counselling accessible, I offer services on a sliding scale based on individual financial situations. This allows clients to receive the support they need at a rate that aligns with their ability to pay.
