Psychosynthesis is where my professional journey began, and more than twenty years later it remains the foundation of everything I do. It has never been simply the model I trained in. It is how I understand a human life: a psychology of the whole person, honouring the difficult material we carry as well as the purpose, meaning and potential that call us forward. In the therapy room this means working relationally and depthfully, with the parts of ourselves that conflict and constrain, with the will in its many qualities, and always in service of the Self that is seeking to emerge.

Over the years I have deepened this foundation through certification as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. I have found the two traditions profoundly complementary. Psychosynthesis offers the vision of synthesis and the framework of meaning; Somatic Experiencing grounds that vision in the body, giving trauma and early wounding a way to resolve at the level of the nervous system, not only in understanding. Together they allow the work to be both transpersonal and deeply embodied.

If you are training in psychosynthesis and looking for your own therapy, you are especially welcome. I know from experience how demanding and how formative the training journey is, and I offer a space where your process is held within the tradition you are studying, at depth and without hurry. I also offer clinical supervision.

I see clients in person in Edinburgh, in Leith and Newington, and online across the UK and internationally. I offer a free initial consultation so we can meet and sense whether the fit is right.
