Hello! My name is Vicky, I’m a Psychosynthesis Counsellor and founder of SoulSpace based in Burnham, Berkshire.

At the heart of SoulSpace is creating a safe space for my clients to explore their thoughts and feelings in supportive environment. A space to discover meaningful insights that can assist in navigating their lives in a more fulfilling and meaningful way.

My work reflects a holistic and inclusive approach to the person that stresses the importance of experience at the level of body, feelings, mind and spirit because each of these are important to living a peaceful and happy life where we are achieving our full potential.

One of my keys strengths is to blend deep empathy with a strong understanding of the holistic, growth-oriented approach that psychosynthesis offers grounded in compassion, insight and a dedication to seeing each person as a whole.

My experience in guiding clients to explore their inner selves and uncover hidden strengths creates a transformative space for healing and self-discovery. Thus, Psychosynthesis is a versatile therapeutic approach that can be effective in a wide range of areas. Here are some areas where psychosynthesis works particularly well:

Personal Growth and Self-Development: Psychosynthesis encourages clients to explore their potential, discover deeper values, and connect with a sense of purpose. It’s an ideal approach for individuals seeking to understand themselves more fully and develop a greater sense of self fulfilment.

Anxiety and Depression: By addressing not only symptoms but also underlying conflicts, psychosynthesis helps clients uncover the root of emotional challenges, promoting a more balanced inner life and greater resilience.

Life Transitions: Whether it’s career changes, relationship shifts, or other major life events, psychosynthesis helps clients manage transitions by exploring the psychological and spiritual dimensions of change, allowing them to adapt with greater clarity and strength.

Trauma and Past Experiences: Psychosynthesis helps clients work through traumatic experiences by integrating these memories into a coherent sense of self, reducing their lingering effects and enabling a sense of empowerment over one’s life story.

Identity and Self-Esteem Issues: This approach helps clients explore the various aspects of their identity, recognise inner conflicts, and build self-worth by fostering self-acceptance and inner harmony.

Existential Concerns and Spirituality: For individuals grappling with questions of meaning, purpose, and spirituality, psychosynthesis provides tools for exploring and integrating these existential concerns, supporting a deeper connection to one’s life purpose.

Relationship Issues: By helping individuals understand their own motivations and patterns, psychosynthesis can improve communication and empathy in relationships, making it useful for couples or those navigating family dynamics.

Addictions and Behavioural Issues: Psychosynthesis helps clients identify and address underlying needs that may be driving addictive or self-destructive behaviours, fostering healthier coping strategies and self-awareness.

My approach is warm, authentic and relationship led. Each session is tailored to the individual’s unique needs, fostering growth, resilience, and self-understanding.
